this week is going to be busybusybusy! training some people at work this week on some stuff, and i've gotten some really positive feedback so far which is great! hopefully i can keep that energy going throughout the week but man, even though i've trained before, teaching is exhausting, still. takes the energy right out of you at the very end. @_@

Stayed over my Scrabble and walking friend's home for a few days, played Scrabble, did local block walks and using the newly placed outdoor gym every day I was there. Felt good doing exercises. Apparently there is one in my town at the town's main park my sister told me, so I have to check it out and see if it's worth using (not "claimed" by troublemakers or something like that).

It's not been too bad: I did do some overtime in the evenings, but not all of them, since I ran out of stuff to do! So I have also had a few relaxing evenings, which I've used to play a variety of games (The Battle for Wesnoth, Railgrade, and Civilization VII).
Also, I went out to my local board games group today, and played two games: Nefarious (a hand management game where you're a mad scientist racing to invent things as quickly as possible), and Tiger & Dragon (a trick-taking game loosely themed on karate, which I wasn't much good at, but enjoyed regardless!)

That doesn't sound too bad - it's still two months away - but, to give you an idea of the scale, this project began over a year ago, and we're only a little over halfway through it!
As a result, I'll be doing some overtime, in order to give us a better chance of meeting the deadline. But, I'll be getting the time off again later on in the year . Jeez, has progress been slow since the project started because it's difficult/a lot to do or has it been a case of "We have plenty of time" and procrastinating on it?

Assuming it wasn't installed since I left, all I can think of is an area where there's like some pull-up bars and stuff. There weren't any machines, nor would I expect any park to ever just install those because of maintenance and safety.
I am currently on day 7 of working 8 days in a row, and I can not wait for Wednesday to just finally outright die and be reborn as a vegetable for a whole day.

I haven't looked at my town's one yet, but used another one near my Dad's place as well as the the one I mentioned. Hmm, how should I describe it? They're more like an apparatus than a machine. They look like a playground for adults in a way, funnily enough. The one at my Dad's more so as it had like monkey bars to swing on, it's high up so you have to jump to grab hold then swing your body weight to the other side, plus a bloody high pull up bar I couldn't be arsed to do, I could do the monkey bars alright. Plus other things like a stationary pedal bike, rower, leg push (has a better name but can't remember), a surfer to train and which made me respect actual surfers more, some more, and my two favourites of lat pulls and chest press. I used those latter two a lot last week, and already noticed a significant difference from the chest press.
Annoyingly having trouble sleeping all of a sudden, might be down to being back at work and not properly eating yesterday. Don't feel tired enough yet I should be.

Well, it's because there's so much to do - and, as a small company, we just don't have a lot of resources.Â
This week has been quieter on the work front, for the most part - although, I did start the next stage of that project yesterday, so I'm very busy with it once again. As a result, I'll be doing overtime again this evening!

Woke up in the middle of the night with a migraine, couldn't get back to sleep from it, and have been suffering with it until now (so about 13+ hours) but I think it's finally gone? I've practically lost my entire day to it though so even though it's finally gone I'm not gonna really get to do much anyway.

I woke up in the night on... Monday into Tuesday thanks to my cold, even after taking stuff for it and couldn't go back to sleep at 3an, had no work at least. Migraine sounds worse though to have that last and screw pretty much the rest of the day it happened on. (in general, know it was today).
Frick my cold, it was a great day Monday prior too, sunny, I just stayed in though. Now I've got 3 shifts one my own, one was today and then the weekend. Yay. Well, the guy we finally got back to help us got into a ski accident, the other two are off. I swear our department is cursed or something when one or two of us are off.

Wow, sorry to hear that Â . I do hope you're feeling better now!Â
My week has been fine: I haven't had a massive amount to do at work, but just enough to not be bored. At the weekend, I saw the first race of the new F1 season, which is always interesting, to give us an idea of which team has built the best car for this year (right now it seems to be Mercedes, with Ferrari not far behind).Â
Also, I went to my local board games group today, and played several games, my favourite of which was "Just One" (a co-operative party game where one play tries to guess a secret word, and the rest of the players give them clues to try and help them guess the word). It's not a particularly deep game, but it's good fun!
