Which might hint that those annoying lost souls are in the game too, as pain elemental spawn loss souls, in the original Doom II and Doom 64. Ah. Even then, it wasn't in Doom 2016 so technically it could count towards doubling the number of demons. Is that the only one out of the four I pointed out that are returning demons from older games?
Alright so because my memory is shit, I suspect we see a Spiderdemon not the spider mastermind (who was the final boss in Doom, and a different from the spiderdemon).
So we have two confirmed, and speculated (lost souls). Since it appears it might take place on earth maybe we will see the Machinegun zombies too.
EDIT So according to the doomwiki I was right about Spider demons and Pain Elemental, But it seems Arch Viles (oh shit) are also in the trailer:
