So I'm not sure what day(s) I'd be available to do one of these with other people simultaneously, but I've been really itching to do another one of these. I think I'm gonna play Ape Escape 3 for the next one because any time I think about this that game always comes to my mind first, so clearly it's the one I have the most interest in out of the choices I could pick from.

Same. Would absolutely love to be involved in another mutli-world session. Might even go crazier and do Dark Souls II this time, which has a lot more to do in it and is a longer game than Dark Souls 3. Randomizer for it can be absolutely brutal too, so it would be great torture. Kingdom Hearts II could be fun as a long, torturous experience as well.
But then I look to some beloved childhood favorites like Final Fantasy Mystic Quest or A Link to the Past and part of me wants to do one of those instead just for a fun, chill time. Too bad Illusion of Gaia isn't available, that would be a really fun game for me.
I also see that Nexus Mods has an Elden Ring one... hmm, that could be quite something too.

The amount of tedium I put myself through last night trying to see if this possibly existed because Google couldn't give me a straight feckin' answer was too dang high! It was convinced an .apworld file existed for that game and kept linking to pages it was citing as the source, and turned out not a single one actually has one. GAH!
My searching did at least remind me Scooby Doo! Night of 100 Frights is an option, but that is one that I expect could be incredibly painful to do. The base game itself isn't exactly a walk in the park, and I haven't looked at what the randomizer changes but given the game is essentially a 3D Metroidvania there could be some really crazy stuff that happens from entering later areas without all of the items and abilities, especially if the ability to even attack enemies is locked for a long time.
I'm hoping that the randomizer for Ape Escape 3 is a lot more significant than the one for Ape Escape was, particularly when it comes to trying out different things. Although it was neat to discover it, in hindsight it was also a bit disappointing that the Dash Hoop gadget in the first game is only required for a single door and that any other instance in the game where I thought it was needed turned out to not be the case. With the mix of gadgets and transformations AE3 has I'm hoping there's gonna be more chances to have alternate approaches to things that aren't just "actually this could be removed from the game and it wouldn't matter".

Yeah, I know there's a randomizer for IoG, but last I heard it was still pretty new and very rough around the edges. I imagine nobody would take the time to make IoG work with multiworld until the randomizer is more refined and stable. Maybe some day.
I had a similar experience with my Dark Souls 3 rando. I thought I'd end up having to do some harder shit like doing the Dancer boss location early, getting into Lothric castle and doing that late-game stuff in the early-game, but nope, my run ended up pretty much just being the normal path through the game and easy as shit. Which is why I'd be interested in doing Dark Souls 2, Elden Ring or Kingdom Hearts 2, all games that have a very good chance of having some absolutely nightmare scenarios in their randomizers. I want something brutal that's going to kick my ass and REALLY make me work for that win.
